Best of 2014

2014 was a super busy year, and for me releasing Corduroy was one of the highlights. I’m so proud that the album ended up on a few year-end “best of” lists (see Notes on Jazz and Step Tempest). More recently it was recommended listening by Dave Sumner on Bird is the Worm, who calls it a “very fun album.”

David-in-DumboIn other important news, I moved to Brooklyn at the end of 2014! This is my first time living outside of Manhattan ever, so it’s a big change for me. But I’m really enjoying the new digs and biking over the Brooklyn Bridge on the daily. I’m also working on my in-home practice/studio space. Once I get settled in, I hope all these new surrounds will inspire my next album. More on that in the coming months…
