Featuring original music composed and inspired by the works of John McLaughlin, while revisiting music selections from legendary Mahavishnu and Shakti albums of the 1970s and ‘beyond,’ this group re-envisions McLaughlin’s masterpieces and celebrates his vibrant solo and ensemble work.
The lineup includes Premik Russell Tubbs (woodwinds, an original member of Mahavishnu Orchestra), Neel Murgai (sitar), Vin Scialla (drums), Dan Asher (bass), David Ullmann (guitar), Joe Deninzon (violin).

Thursdays, The Elks Lodge transforms into an old school organ parlor with a house Hammond B3 organ, Leslie speaker, and an intimate listening room for you to sit back groove to the music. Drinks and bar eats are great and inexpensive.
The early timing of 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm allows you to start the weekend off right on Thursday night and yet still have plenty of gas left for the rest of the weekend.
There is a new featured artist each week. On 8/22/19, guitarist David Ullmann joins the trio. The music is a mix of original compositions, jazz standards and R&B and soul classics.

The group features Snehasish Mozumder on double neck mandolin, Vin Scialla on drums and percussion, Neel Murgai on sitar, Premik Russell Tubbs on woodwinds, Dan Asher on bass and Swaminathan Selvaganesh on kanjira, and includes special guests David Ullmann on guitar and Joe Deninzon on violin.
